starting problem
Here's the situation: I have a 1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula that has been in a garage for a year, without being started. Before this year in the garage, my husband would start it and mess with it often. We just never drove it much. Anyway, my husband got cancer a year ago and passed away recently. It hasn't been started, so I went out and tried to start it today, after getting a new battery. No luck, so I checked the fuse on the radiator support and it looks good. It turns over but just won't start. Help! I really want to get it started and cleaned up. Any ideas? If you tell me to check a relay or something you need to tell me where to find it. I'll try anything, but I just need detailed explanations. Thanks for your help.

well u could use that fuel to power ur lawn mower. but first syphon out just a little bit. Smell the gas. its kinda hard to explain how bad gas smell but if the gas u have doesn't smell like gas, but its more of a sour smell, then ur gas is bad and refuel it with fresh gas
Thanks, but I got it started! Yippee!! Don't know what I did but I said a prayer, went back out and it started and runs like a dream. Thanks for all of your input. I just hope it starts tomorrow and the next.....
