Well, its not a carb its a throttle body

There is a way to put 12v to the fuel pump, on the diagnostic terminal ( dont remeber which) someone will chime in, if it primes its wiring or relay.

To replace it, as i remeber its taking out the exhaust, lowering the rear end. disconnecting fillter tube, and fuel lines and electrical

and of course the straps

Im sure someone who has more knowledge then i and will fill you in

behind rear seat, i have no rear seat , but, its dead center on hump b4 t top storage bin...............just make sure you wear eye protection and watch cut, dont press too hard or youll cut gas lines, these need to be cut anyways but with sparks in the mix it could be 4th of july ..............make sure you use cutting wheel and not grinding wheel, cutting wheel is very thin.........

get under the car and disconnect the fuel pump wiring harness from where it comes out of behind the rear seat. Test for power with a test light when someone turns the key on. One of the wires should light up for a couple seconds to prime. If not you have an electrical problem.

1st - check the fuse that is beside the battery - there is a wire pair that dead ends into a fuse that's tucked under the fenderwell just beside the battery.

2nd - get a fuel pump relay from auto parts store for that car - pop the hood, locate ALL relays that match it, swap them one by one, and see if any of the swaps change things.

3rd - find the Oil Pressure Sending Unit - should be located above oil filter - three wire connector to it - unplug connector and jump two of the wires (you'll have to look into Haynes to see which two colors, I don't remember) - if that makes fuel pump run, then you need a new OPSU.

4th - turn key on, crawl under rear and find the plug going to the fuel pump - there is a connector up in the rear hump just in front of the axle/differential - unplug it and test for current. No current means a) one of the above still bad, or b) break in that wire between OPSU and that connector - test continuity between OPSU and that connector with a long wire.

5th - all above failed - fuel pump is dead - replace.

behind the hump? you need to be dead center of hump, the pump is held in with a locking ring on top of tank, yes youll need to cut lines and redo with rubber fuel line, i used a small plumbers pipe cutter..........
