RHS vortec

They are actually publishing the flow numbers for the RHS vortec heads. For some reason they flowed them with a 4.200 bore. I wonder how this reflects to smaller bores. For some reason they put in big block gasket numbers which is odd.

On a smaller bore, the numbers will be lower. I hate shaddy stuff like this. It makes other companies do the same thing to compete, and we loose out on the end.

All I can say is at least they are being honest about what bore they tested the heads at so its really not shady. Almost every other head manufacture doesnt even report what bore they test their heads with so that is even more shady.

Someone at an independent shop said they flowed five sets and they flowed in the low 240s which still sounds pretty good to me.

I have only Flowed one set of RHS/Pro-topline vortec heads ( I prefer the bow-tie vortec)

They flowed 244 at .550 and in the high 180's for exhaust

This is going off memory, I'll see if I can dig the sheet up
