Vortec/carb guys...
What kind of power are you guys making? I have my L98 that I have to go .030 on. I'm picking up some Vortecs and going back to a carb'd setup. I'm not sure on a cam. But what kind of power can I expect from a mildy cam'd Vortec head'd 355?
thanks
thanks

uhh, nice sig pic, stellar mspaint job right there, hahaa
You can do 350hp (1hp per cube) with a reasonable sized cam. That's a winning combo right there.
Big fun comes when you either go to a bigger cam, and/or put the 3.75" stroke crank in it. Now that's where the 375-400HP motors are being made.

This motor is going to be mated to a 700 with a 2400 stall and shift kit. Full exhaust ofcourse and a 3.42 rear posi. With some sticky sticky drag radials do you think low 13's are possible?

Yes.
Don't go too big on the cam then with that wee stall speed.

I kind of want to keep it a stret friendly stall since it i a daily driver. Will the LT4 Hotcam match my stall?
