starter problem t5

starter problem t5
almost finished the t5 swap, the starter isnt touching the flywheel. it did once but thats it. its a t5 start and flywheel. heres a dump question, did i put the flywheel on backwards? cant thing wat else could be the problem?

you mean the starter is too far backwards, or too far outwards, or...?
Is it the stock starter from your 700R4 application? Straight bolt pattern?
What size flywheel is it? The 153 tooth right?
