car smells toxic..

I drive my 91 RS v6 everyday,
so I probably never noticed. but for a reason I havent even got into my car for 3days,
and I just went inside my car and poo.

interior smells like, poisonous or something..
this is with the car off, so its not the exhaust or fuel or anything like that.

although I clean my car all the time inside out,
I guess its the accumulated dust thats under the dash, inside the vents, behind the carpet?
if i had the time, Id love to take all my dash and carpet and clean every dust off my car, but I dont have the time.

any1 has any good method of eliminating or absorbing dust or toxic smelling odor?

i already tried baking soda and didnt work

That would mean that nearly all thirdgen cars would stink, wouldn't it? Might try some Febreze Auto.

Rather than masking the odor with an "air freshener" I'd be looking for the source. Dead rodents? Spilled food/beverages? Been to Taco Bell recently? Just asking....

Floorboard wet under passenger dash? = Heater core leak.

Smoking with AC on Max? = cold smoke on AC evaporator = nasty.

NorCal? Spilled bong water = nasty. just kidding (but really nasty).

Kids? nappys under a seat = very poo nasty.

Find the source.

That's awesome.

I have to agree, find the problem...it could be mold or something.
