ok building a 94 lt1 block but in not going to use the std dizzy on the front of the motor im going to drill a hole in the intake mani for the dizzy and run a gen 1 sbc water pump so here is the Q's

1:will a gen 1 water pump mate up to the gen 2 block?
2:will a gen 1 timing chain covor mate up to a gen 2 block?

1. No. Not even close.

2. No. Even less of a match than the water pumps.
