I removed my y pipe and starter today as I prepare to put on my new exhaust, just have some trivial questions about the starter, I broke the little nut off that seems to just hold or balance the one end of the starter, how important is this really to put back on?


Also my starter seemed pretty strong, but it is the original with 55,xxx miles on it, should i replace it now, I guess I dont know how hard it will be to ever replace with headers in there? Just some little concerns I have.
