Engine: 3.8 about to be punched out to 4.3
Transmission: 4R70W
Axle/Gears: 3.73 Detroit true trac
sport shifting a 700R4
quick question, i have an auto, and i was wondering if manually shifting it (1-2-D)would be bad for it or just do nothing for it or like my stang firm the shifts up by manually shifting the tranny (1-2-D i can chirp second in a stock split port)

probably won't do anything. Might give you that warm fuzzy feeling of being in control though.
