iac at 69% way to hi um iac was not tourqed

said there might be a comp problem said couldn;t tell hmmm

ok so after i left the shop (plug in was no charge)

got home and touqed the iac to 13

reset min idle

idles great until i hook the timing advance wire.

it seems i get it to idle 600in drive 850 park without that wire connected

connect that wire and 1300 park 800 drive timing set at 6before

so i kept the wire off and drove around for an hr no power loss still smoke em 50 ft from dead stop

idle little shaky in drive but not bad.

the question is why if i connect that wire does the idle come way up
could he have been right the comp is bad and reading car is going fast but its not moving like speed sensor or something?

then he showed me his car 86 iroc 350 crate motor 750 holley dp, preformer intake.nice didn't get to into it to find out rest.

but he told me to get an edlebrok 650, preformer intake, msd dist, fuel pressure reg and he would put it in for 200.00 get rid of the tpi is what he said..lol
