ignition switch?????

ignition switch?????

so heres the deal '86 camaro 350 carb'd automatic.......the car started when i started it to put it on the car dolly, then when i offloaded it to put it in the garage i tried starting it that same night and when i put the keys in the ignition it did absolutly nothing no lights no windows nothing......BUT every now and then every once in a while i get the buzzing like its indicating that the key is infact in the ignition, and sometimes when it does give me some juice it brings up the gauges they zero out bur if i turn the key its like thhere isnt enough power to do anything, i tested the battery and it is good, can anyone help me with this problem.........

Have you checked how well the battery is grounded, as well as the positive cables? Best way to find the issue is with my best buddy, mr. multimeter. Check for 12V at the starter positive terminal, and go from there. Trace the power, and if the cut out is at the switch, then replace it. Hope this helps,
