You'll need all of the TPI hardware, harnesses, sensors, ECM throttle cables and coolant hoses. Then you need to remove all of the similar hardware, etc., from the carb'd engine/vehicle. Put all of that TPI stuff on the car.
The TPI has an in-tank electric fuel pump. If the carb'd car is an '87, it will also have an in-tank pump. However, the fuel pump itself and the lines going up to the engine are different between the two systems, so it would be best to get all of that off of the TPI car and transfer it to the carb'd car.
There are probably some under-dash differences as well, but they should be limited to that going up to the ECM.
If, on the other hand, you're talking about putting a carb'd engine underneath a TPI in a TPI car, you take out the TPI engine, take off the TPI stuff attached to it, put it on the engine that had the carb, and put it back in the car. If the carb'd engine is '86-earlier, the center two intake mount bolts on each side will be at a different angle than the rest, and you'll either need to elongate the bolt holes in the TPI base, or find an '85-'86 TPI base.

Re: carb to tpi
just to clear things up a little more the carb in tank pump according to the GM dealer has an output pressure of (are you ready...) 2 PSI, 38 more PSI to that and you got yourself a TPI pump.
