i was driving my tbi going 60mph when it just cut off right away and wont start back up battery is fine car cranks over but wont send any fuel no spray out of the injector the fuel pump works and i changed all the fuses why wont my injector spray fuel?

 

Is there any spark at the plugs? If not, the HEI switching module or pickup could be a problem. The ECM gets the reference signal to operate the injectors from the ignition.

Is there any fuel pressure? Does the engine run briefly if you manually administer some fuel through the throttle body?

 

the fuel pressure is fine and when i disconnected a fuel line going to the thorttle body it was squirting fuel so its not getting blocked i tried putting starting fluid in the throttle body and it still wont fire. I checked the spark again with a spark tester and after 6 cranks i got a spark dunno if thats normal or not.

 

you should have spark within a second of cranking the engine every time it really isnt something that needs to build up it is either there the first time or something is bad
