I need a vacuum hei dizzy since I'm going to carb. from a tpi setup. I have a 383. These distributors on ebay are selling for arouound 50$. How can they sell these for so little and say they are brand new, when a new one is around 170$. What am I missing? http://motors.search.ebay.com/sbc-he...Z6000QQsaspiZ2

ask them if them can throw you a part# and then cross reference it in google and see what distributor comes up and see what it costs. When then price is to good to be true the parts are probably crap.

i bought this HEI from white performance off ebay 8 months ago when converting my LO3 to carb. it performs flawlessly with my combo- stock bottom end and crappy TBI heads, L98 cam w/ 1.6 roller rockers, performer intake, holley 600, 125hp nitrous, underdrive pulley, no smog, shorty headers, 3" with flowmasters, 1800 stall 700r4 with shift kit, 3.42 posi

it does have a mild mech advance- 22* giving me a total of 32*(10* initial) but that is fine for my nitrous with 93 octane, if I was just N/A I would put a little more advance in it

it is a great looking HEI and has performed as advertised and it fit MY budget I would not hestitate to buy another one. white performance had fast shipping and were great to deal with
