Has anyone used 1.6 rockers on a stock TBI motor???? If so was there any difference in performance??? What about the computer, any problems??? Has anyone done a dyno before and after, with just that one change made??? Am really thinking of giving them a try...If any of you guys have used them with a stock cam, please let me know your results.....Am going to hjave the car down for a week or 2, to do the exhaust, and add a little gear, along with full poly bushing thru out the car...If it is worth a little power, I will go for it... The motor does have a good air intake, and will have a good exhaust,god ignition, but STOCK cam..Thank you for any answers, and opinions on this subject......Tom

 

Just switching to 1.6 from 1.5 is not a big power gain no matter what the combination. Personally I would save your money since once you increase rocker lift you typically have to change pushrod length also. If starting a motor from scratch, this is one of those "as long as I'm in here" type deals you might as well, but on the track where gains can be seen, you typically wont see anything just going from 1.5 to 1.6
