For the last few weeks my starter hasnt been working properly. Sometimes the car would start right up and others I'd have to turn the key a few times. Yesterday I finally bought a new starter and tonight i was going to put it in. We got the old starter out without a problem, unscrewed everything and unhooked the wires. When I went to put in the new starter I was only able to find the wire that goes to the battery. The second wire to the starter terminal has disappeared. We searched all over and it is no where to be found. Does anyone know where this wire leads to? It's as if it was never there, it just disappeared. I am stumped on where it could have gone. Any help would be appreciated.
