corvette servo

corvette servo

for someone who has frequented the forum like i have i should know this by now, but what exactly is a corvette servo? i think ill need it soon cuz i got 140K miles coming up on my 700r4 trans and it hasnt ever been rebuilt.

The vette servo has an enlarged surface apply area for improved 1-2 shifts. It simply replaces the stock unit already installed in the trans. When the transmission is rebuit, that would be the time to make the upgrade mods. There are however, superior aftermarket servo's that out perform the standard vette servo, along with a long list of other internal upgrades and modifications that can be made at the time of the rebuild. Changing one component probably wont make that much of a difference. Decide how you want it to perform before you start the rebuild process.
