How can I tell if my rockers are 'self-aligning" or not?

I recently bought set of Vortec heads to go on the motor I am building for my Formula and the heads already have screw in studs and guideplates installed. I got a set of roller tipped rockers with them (I am not sure of the make) but I dont know if the they are self aligning or not....and I have read that you should not run self aligning rockers with the guideplates. Can someone tell me how to tell of my rockers are self aligning or not? Thanks.

Self-aligning roller tips will have little "ears" on either side of the roller that hang down over the valve stem.
