fuel line thread sizes? diameter of hoses?
ok, i am looking to replace my rubber fuel lines (near the master cyl brake booster) and the metal lines that tehy go to, which flow into and out of the TPI. my metal lines are rusty as hell, and the rubber ones look dumb;
i want to have some braided steel flexible lines there (for the fuel In, and fuel return) to match my other braided hoses.
so; i am looking to see if anyone knows what type and size thread connections these fittings will need to be..
if you know, please post it up. the fuel In, is bigger than the return line (obviously), but i dont know what exact sizes they are.

Get the thread adapter kit from Summit. They will adapt the factory thread size to -6an. This will let you run stainless AN lines from the factory hard lines into the TPI

thanks man, i still have a few more questions,, and if you or anyone else has time to answer them i'd be super appreciative
here is the search page on summit i came up with
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...rdSearch#rstop
now, would i need to get adapters on each end? so that would be 2, plus 2 adapters? 4 total?
are the IN lines 1/2 inch ? and the return lines 3/8ths ?
will i have to buy the steeel braided hoses from summit and install them myself on there? is this safe for me to do to a fuel line? how does it ensure no leakages?
which fittings on that page should i need? do i have the dimaters correct?
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
and
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
??????
it seems almost too simple to me; cuz ive heard that it was relativley complicated to run these lines from my hard lines to the TPI unit.. where , i dont know, but i thought that i would need a whole assortment of adapters and fittings?
i also see that Russel offers this Kit for Mustangs
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
would this be similar to what i am going to create? is this mustang kit able to be used for my 87 TPI camaro? (i think not, butjust running it by u guys)

No offense, but doing this just for looks is a little silly. Normally it's done to supply a higher amount of fuel to the rails and the factory lines from the tank are replaced with larger ones, not just the short rubber lines under the hood.
But anyway, you need summit #sum-220009. These will adapt the saginaw threads to -6. You will then need a section of -6 hose. I would get a 10' length so you'll have plenty to work with. You will install the fittings and measure how long the hoses have to be. Then you cut the hose to length and install the ends. What type of ends you need will depend on how you run the lines. You can get straight, 45* and 90* ends. It's been so long since I've worked with a TPI setup that I can't picture in my head what you'll need. Anyway, the ends are pretty easy to install you just have to be patient while you're learning how. Buy a couple extra fittings because you will booger up a couple.

AN is a flared fitting. How the fitting connects to the hose depends on what kind of fittings and hose you use.
