How do i know which cam my 350 block cam with the block # is 14093638 and mortec said it comes with either

what machine work would i have to get for my block to accpet a hydraulic roller, im pretty sure its a flat tappet being as the guy said its out of a truck, also would it be worth it for me to get it done or are there plenty of good flat tappet cams out there, ive been lookin but im not really finding much that catches my attention

The machine work is already done.

All you need, is the roller parts; the different timing set, the retainer plate and screws, the cam, lifters, dogbones, spiders, the spider screws, and push rods.

You can get the retainer plate & screws, and lifters, dogbones, spider, and screws, on eBay or in the classifieds on here, for fairly cheap. The cam, timing set, and push rods, you can buy new.

If the block was originally installed in a truck, it may or may not be machined for the roller equipment.

think im just gonna say screw it and let the shop deal with it and just buy the cam kit from them... anything would be better than this worn out l03
