tuning with a map system

k my motors doin a build, zz4 cam, slight compression bump with built 305 heads, and stock intake with those humps ported out of plenum

i will be switching to a 350, and might try the 305 ecm for a bit
or can i tune the 305 ecm ? if not ill get a 350 one, but will it be hard to tune with my 1991 setup, witch i think is just MAP, not MAF or speed density, as far as i know.

hard or impossible to tune?

different topic: where is a sticky, for taking everything useless off your car, coolant bypass, smog, air, cats, ac and smog, and other dumb factory restrictions?

i want to go fast, not save gas, and destroy the world with my emmisions

You can tune it just fine.. The only thing that will be unchangable using all of the 305 stuff is the limp-home circuitry in the memcal... If you get a 350 memcal (AUJP broadcast code) thats the only difference between what you've got and a 350 setup, the ECM is the same. I'd say you'd be good to go to tune with what you've got..

k thanks, cuz i think map runs off vacum, and i know the cam will boost vacum, so i kinda thought it would throw it off,,, good to know i dont need a new ecm,,

is the memcell chip your talkin about the same ones as the aftermarket? like if i was to burn a custom chip(cuz i have to anyways), is it the memcell, or a different one?
