Fuel flow problem? Stalling? Please help
I recently bought a 86 Camaro it was not running when I got it. I replaced the sparkplugs/wires, new alternator, battery, and belts.
BUT....
If the car sits for more then 5 hours it starts but without me pressing the accelerator it will die. Also when I press the accelerator it will start to die but when I release the gas it will rev the engine.. This is kinda hard to explain. For I am not an experienced mechanic by any means.
Any help in this will be appreciated.
Thank you.

my 87 2.8 was mpfi had 6 injectors. do you have 6 injectors or something that looks like a carb with wires (tbi). either way check your tps. (throttle position sensor). for correct voltages at idle and wot. (wide open throttle).
