deleting A/C ..shorter belt ..or delete pully ?
Wondering what to do here ... Or is there only one way to go ? I am putting on a BBS turbo kit and the A/C has to go . But I figured I would just todd on a shorter belt. But the thing is I see a delete pully for sale on the net. Is that the way to go ? Or is it just an option . I'd hate to buy that pully and find it interferes with the turbo houseing
thanx for all the reply's

If you're keeping the stock serpentine belt system I think you'll need the delete pulley so that the belt tensioner works properly. Run a different belt system and you may be able to delete it altogether.

thanx for the tips man . So I am wondering if a serpantine car that came without the A/C .... was there an idler pulley? So far it looks as though I need a pully ....just wondering about a car that came stock without A/C now .
thanx again

i would not get a pulley......if your eliminating the system compltely just say **** it and leave the belt off of there.........if you need the puley then get it and hook it up ..........hooking up a delete pulley wont do anything but let you keep your belt on there and just put some drag on your motor...not too much but some.......

You will probably need a new alt bracket with a slot so you can tension the belt with it. I am thinking of doing that on my setup so I can get rid of the accessory bracket on the pass side of the bay,
