surging when warm ? need help

surging when warm ? need help

I have searched but didn't find anything helpful .
My car - 89 iroc l98 auto , stock . My problem is when the car warms up it starts surging even when I hold the rpms up. warmer it gets worse it gets .
It is also running rich enough to burn your eyes . Any ideas will be appreciated .

Any error codes? (SES light coming on)

Rich is often the O2 sensor. How fresh is it?

I posted twice on this cause I did not think the first one went through

But engine light not on so I figured no codes ?
o2 probably not fresh .I've had car for 5 yrs. but have put very very few miles on it .:thanks

update - o2 sensor & maf . problem now fixed thanks much for the help 5 7
