Did an 89 IROC ever come with a TBI?
Did an 89 IROC ever come with a TBI?
I was looking at a classified pic and the car is listed ans an 89 "Z28" but the under hood pic looks like a TBI w round air cleaner.
No TPI
Does that pretty much mean it's got to be an RS?
Can't see the plaques in the pics.

Engine: 355 TPI siamesed runners
Transmission: Tremec T56
Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
In 88, the TBI was the base engine as well. It wasnt until 1990 that the TPI was the base engine in the IROC/Z28. In 82-87, the LG4 was the base IROC/Z28 engine.
