We do not offer engines without cams as we can not spin test them that way.

what would be the lobe seperation of that? good enough for computer controlled? its the upgrade for this amazingly cheap engine

sounds like a good deal with free oil pump gaskets and warrenty
think its a good replacement to my lb9 5 speed stock cuz i can't remeber the specs on my 305 cam.......im sure hopin its faster

you could go down to autozone and pick up a shortblock for like 799...
which would be the same price as that thing shipped...

cuz i want a cam that makes it barely idle, and that "police cam" sure does sound pussyish

No, we don't have autozone. We have parts source - which is ok. Mopac is good for performance parts, along with whatever Toma's old place is called now. 20ave north and center street I think.

I don't understand your question, are you trying to buy a 350 motor, or a cam for your 305 LB9?

 

it seems like he wants to buy a short block but they onlysell them with a cam and he wanted to know if a 198 Upgrade cam was a good idea...
