no low end???

i just changed my intake manifold on my lg4 to a new power plus cyclone and put the old q-jet and distributor in and now i have absolutly no low end tourqe, i cant even do a friggin burn out!!!!!! what is my problem here???? somebody please help me fast.

Is the timing set back up correctly? how does it run through the middle to top? the same or better? does it stutter, bog, etc? .. changing something on the intake side might call for other things to be adjusted to it.. carb signal/metering might no longer be matched to the new manifold.. but start with the basics and check timing and ensure that nothing was overlooked on the install..

well my dad set the timing while i was at work and i hopped in and drove it and it bogs down and dont want to really move until about 3000 rpm, top end is good tho.

idle the car down until it barely runs and check the timing again.. who knows it might still be down.. if fine, you'll need to start checking the distributor for cracks in the cap, bad wires, anything that was removed is back in its place, maybe distributor off a tooth...

ok problem fixed, the timing was waaaay off where it should have been, came home from work and reset it and it now runs like a raped ape hahaha
