Engine: 383 stroker
Transmission: t5
Axle/Gears: 3:73 strange axle
is it a blow motor???
motor has 200 miles on it. i started it today and took it for a spin, and it bogged out and died on me, i started it up and started driving then heard a knocking sound.... car does not knock when on idol.... can anyone help me out.. motor has less then 200miles....

knocking is bad...
lots of engines will not make sounds at idle and then "knock" under load...
most likely a rod bearing issue but you should adjust the timing first to see if your knock is really pre-ignition or detonation..
