Car: 71 camaro, and also a 91 camaro
Engine: 383 stroker
Transmission: t5
Axle/Gears: 3:73 strange axle
is it a blown motor???
motor has 200 miles on it. i started it today and took it for a spin, and it bogged out and died on me, i started it up and started driving then heard a knocking sound.... car does not knock when on idol.... can anyone help me out.. motor has less then 200miles....

well i wouldn't say "blown" but deffinetly hurting, check the obvious first, oil, and oil pressure are vital if you dont see oil pressure within the first 5 seconds of starting the motor turn it off. did you happen to "get on" the motor after the rebuild? because if you did you could have spun a bearing and thats why its knocking. ALWAYS wait 500 miles after a rebuild before realy getting on the motor.
