help with old fuel problem
my Iroc had been sitting for over a year when I bought it this past summer. its never been fired since, and I'm swapping in a fresh engine. but, it has a quarter tank of gas that's been sitting there for over a year too. now I don't want all that nasty old gas going into the new engine. so even if I just drain that out, is there anything that I can use to get that gunk out of the tank?

Re: help with old fuel problem
well i had a full tank of 4 year old gas in my car too, i just sucked out as much as possible then let the rest run through the motor. then mixed in some 93 twards the end and have been fine since. but do change you fuel filter, i looked at mine and it was like black. it only costs a couple of bucks and like 5 minutes. but you can probably just run to napa and get some fuel system cleaner just browse the shelf i think stp makes some stuff for that. (which i think i'm gonna add later now that i think of it.)
