Fuel Pressure Setting
I was reading through the FAQ's and saw the link What fuel pressure setting will give me the best performance? It shows that putting the fuel pressure up to 50 psi will gain you 58 ft-lbs of torque and 19 hp. These results were on a stock 350 motor. If i did this to a stock 305 LB9 motor will i get the same results? Would it cause the car to run rich or give it any other problems?

Re: Fuel Pressure Setting
Exactly...
The fuel pressure setting that will give your car the best performance, is the one that gives it the best performance.
You don't need to be concerned about the "number". Adjust it, drive the car, is it better? Yes/no. Yes: adjust it the same direction some more. No: adjust it back to where it was, then a little bit farther. Is it better? Yes/no. Yes: repeat. No: repeat. etc. etc. etc. until it never gets any better, only worse. Then you'll know it's the best.
Every car is different. They're at different altitudes, different maintenance has been done to them, different weather, different fuel, different weight, different gears, etc. etc. etc. This is why it's called "tuning", as opposed to "assembling". You gotta find what works best for YOUR car, which most likely IS NOT the same as what works best for SOME OTHER car.

Re: Fuel Pressure Setting
I think they sell gauges that let you check the fuel pressure while being able to adjust it also.

Re: Fuel Pressure Setting
I went from the stock 45psi to 49 psi and seen no difference at all at the track. This year I'm going to try and lower it to see if thats helps.
