TPIS BigMouth Intake

I had bought the TPIS BigMouth intake and have a question about the felpro gaskets that came with it.

Before I bought the intake, I had planned on re-using my existing TPI intake and had bought the FelPro 47225 gasket kit for TPI. The gaskets in this kit are really nice and seem to be much better than what came from TPIS. I understand that I can only use the intake gaskets, but they are slightly different. They cover the intake just fine and all the holes line up perfectly. I would just prefer to use the better gasket.

Do you all think it would be fine to use the intake gaskets from the kit I had purchased or is it a wise idea to use the felpro's that TPIS provided?

Thanks,

Pat

Re: TPIS BigMouth Intake

If the holes line up and there's no gasket covering a port, then use whichever gasket you like better.

Ok great. I thought it wouldn't matter, but I wanted to make sure!

Thanks a bunch!

Key phrase.
On a side note - yours came WITH a gasket? I got robbed.
