what all and how do i set my timing
my timing chaing jumped a tooth so i bought a new set and i cant seem to get this thing timed right ive done many motors back in the 70s a while back so i dont really know what to do with this one its a 305 tbi 5 spd 91 camaro

Are you setting the cam timing, or the ignition timing?

Line the timing marks up dot to dot, install the distributor in with the rotor pointing at the #6 terminal, disconnect the EST wire at the distributor, time it with a light just like in the old days.
