Surging engine still, i have loads of info... need some help.
So my camaros engine is still surging 5.7 89 tpi auto No codes on all the time but i do get a 13 when driving on the free way lean o2 sensor while highway cruse. BLM 109 then it went up to 128 and stayed.o2 tested good, .2-- to .6-- back and fourth when the engine surges rpm up vaccume HG is at 17 when it surges back down 13-14 Fuel system tested at 45psi held 45 psi after the key was turned off for 10-15 mins with no drop in pressure( no fuel system leek, injectors or railin)Fuel never drops below 40 and dose not surge with the engine while running.New IAC valve, cleaned out throttle body and air passesges.New MAF good relays both power and burnoffall fuses check goodNo vacuum leeks anywhere, including under dash vacuum is good and no leeking aswell. tpi unit is good, and no vacuum leek on underside of intake or inside engine.All fuel injector are clicking at the same rateAjusted min air, and TPS according to the tech article .54 at tpsEGR is good valve and solinoidNo spark problems, coils good, new plugs wires cap rotor, Distribtor is good including the wire inside of it.possibility of the a/c clutch locking and causing a load is out of the picture as its been bypassed on the sypentine beltGood alternator 14.2 v 80 ampsAlso the car runs fine, in closed loop when is not warm and as soo and is goes to open( using sensors to control running) is when it starts surging.Theirs probably more that i have checked but im stuck right nowIve been told be a technition that the TPS might be bad ever tho it reads good on volts he said to find the resistance of it and check it.I really would apriciate some help any more info you guys might need i can tell you or get i have accsess to everything i need to test Also how do i test fuel pressure regulator?

Your TPS is good if you get a reading of ~.54 - ~4.5v closed to full throttle range.
Your regulator sounds good as well if you never drop below 40's.
I've seen some crazy things happen when the ignition module was taking a dump. You could pull that out and have autozone or somebody test it for free.

Would you re-write this section?
Your TPS is good if you get a reading of ~.54 - ~4.5v closed to full throttle range.
Your regulator sounds good as well if you never drop below 40's.

Open loop the car is cold and running off some sensors.
Closed loop the car is warm and everything is used.
I've seen EGR valves sticking open doing what you're describing.

yea egr valve is somthing i need to check more thourally but i really donno if that would be it because it only happens in closed loop its perfect in open look
