I have a 86 z28 with a tpi motor .the car sat for 7 years and when i got it i put a new fuel pump and filter in it it ran great but then it started backfiring out the exaust and through the air flows in the front?and now it wont start at all I checked the distribitor and rotor both look good i put 15 gallons of new gas in and still nutting when i turn it over it sound like it wants to start but when i turn the key of it makes an air sound up bye the injectors in the middle of the rail on the right side i checked my filter to make sure there was gas going tio the front of the car it was good iam lost on this one please help

Report back with fuel pressure reading at Schraeder valve on fuel rail and check for spark while cranking and let us know what you find.

 

i have good spark as far as pressue i dont know i have to get a tester the car was running good untill my friend sprayed the motor off i checked wires no shorts if there are special fuses under the hood where are they bye the tpi intake
? my fuel relays on the fire wall didnt get wet
