From cap and rotor to ignition box?
From cap and rotor to ignition box?
Hey, i was wondering if there was a way to put an ignition box in my car. Do i need to change the distributor? The cap and rotor? Anything? What all is involved? Has anyone done this before?

To run an ignition box in your car you would need to take the module out of the distributor and replace it with the supplied wire, that wire then hooks up to the ignition box. everything else is just tach sender, power and ground.

You only remove the module if you're using an old non-computer distributor with a 4 pin module. Otherwise, you leave the module in place.
There's no performance benefit to any sort of ignition box on a relatively stock engine.
