I have two problems as you can tell. I got a 89 Camaro V6 that had a broken steering column. By broken I mean the tilt no longer held so it would just move up and down. It ran fine untill the key got stuck and the car was stolen. when we found it the key was on the seat so I drove it home and parked it. now it wont start or anything. I replaced the battery thinking it was dead and the car didnt even try to turn over. I am going to replace the column in a day or so but has anyone ever ran into this befor. Any idea if there is an under lying cause that I am missing.

I almost forgot when I was trying to pull the column out I got all of the connections and bolts out but it is stuck. I pulled out the bolt on the shaft just infront of the fire wall and pulled and pulled but it sont budge. is there a trick or do I just need a crowbar.
