at idle i have very little oil if any coming from rocker arms. as i accelerate due get plenty of oil pressure. recent cam swap 30 mins or so of run time since cam swap. no oil problems before i swapped cams. no noises or clunking to indicate any thing. running sae non det 30 weight. any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.
If the cam is a flat tappet, did you use a break-in lube for the cam on start-up?
Do you have an actual oil pressure reading at hot idle? A pressure reading from a real gauge, and not the one on the dash, woiuld be best.
If the engine has an oil filter, why are you using a non-detergent oil?
