I want to start it up! HELLPPPP!!!!!!
Hey auto brothers, I start my car nothing no sound of a click nothing. Even the security light doesn't come on like it should when you turn the power on. I had to go under the car and start it with pliers at the starfter engine.
i want to get rid of the VATS altogether!!! can you guys EXPLAIN in step how to wire the system to not even use this thing and just go to start?
Do I have to splice? is there a device to use that I can get locally (Meaning run out to the store now and get) I just need my car to start without having to go under it to do it...
If I remove the ECM computer will it start at all?
Where is the computer at?
ASAP HLEP PLEASE!!!

Removing the ECM will cause the injectors not to fire, so it won't start at all. There is a VATs tech article in the electrical section at this link:
https://www.thirdgen.org/technical-articles
It almost sounds like there is a blown fuse, as VATs would prevent the engine from starting even when jumping the starter.
I think the general tech board is a better place for this thread (it was that or the electronics board).
RBob.
