Ok, im building a strict race car, and I wanted to know if I removed all of the emissions controls on my 85 trans am, would it mess with anything on the car? also I plan to remove the refrigrant pump, will that mess with anything?

if it is a race only car... does it really matter? 85 thats V-belt setup right? then nothing to worry about...

alright, i know that the pump runs into the radiator and it runs to the compressor, i dont care about the compressor, but why it runs to the radiator is beyond me, i guess extra cooling, maybe i could just get an aftermarket rad that has one inlet and one outlet...
as for the emissions crap, thats all coming out, im taking off the header covers too, i need almost 90% of my engine cleared out...

there is a seperate ac condensor in front of the radiator the you can remove the lines dont actually go into the radiator
