hey i just went to get my emissions done and failed, i passed HC with an 88 Nox with a 560 but failed CO i got a .36 the limit was .32, i have all the emissions equipment, a new cat, plugs wires, cap and rotor.awhile ago itryed burning chips, screwed it up and had to get a new computer , my car is an 89 rs manual tranny the new computer with the chip was for a newr rs with an auto now i always get code 24 and it smells like it runs rich, but ive done nothing other than the computer to cause that. he said it could be a leak in an air pump line when i put my valve covers on the lines were a little small so i checked and a little air was cooming out so i got a new hose for that today. so im wondeing if any one can help me get my CO's down and also this diverter valve when i have the car running air comes out of the bottom i just wanted to make sure this was right. try retarding your timing a tad, make sure its warmed up before u go

 

lol funny you say that im sure like every my car runs a little hot if it sits or idles high and my fans only come on with ac, the guy was like reviing my car for no reason and took extra time testing ended up blowing my over flow tank didnt even say sorry or offer to pay for new one lets just say i wasnt happy today.

this is why i take myn to a ghetto place , may mess a thing up thats 15 bucks but i pass and they dont check much


last time i took my moms car there they jacked it up by the floorboards and left abig dent in the floor that i kicked out shortly afterwood haha
