Need answer Everytime I crank my car and give it some gas I hear what seems to be the AC starting up everytime I step on the gas and it refuses to stay cranked . The mechanic tells me their is no vac leaks. I run some seafoam gas adetive thru the tank because the mech told me I had bad gas. so I ran the tank and so I go back today and he now tells me I might have a clogged fuel filter. And he is starting to really **** me off so what could be the problem. I was thinking it was the o2 sensor because when it idles it goes to 2K and then comes back down to 700 rpms. And possible solutions or places to start looking. Once the car dies it sounds like the FP is priming

 

if the fuel pump is clogged already, the seafoam may not work for you. I would change the fuel filter first, because it is the easiest, and go from there.
