Mechanical water temp where to tap in?
So my gauges came today Mechanical everything
. So I was wondering what the best place to add the sender to? I want to keep my stock electric gauge. I was thinking since I am not useing either ports on my water neck I could screw the fitting into it? From what I understand it has to be in certain areas. ideas?? Its a carbed 305 stock!

The thermostat housing will only give you engine coolant temp when the thermostat is open. In the cross-over passage would be better.
