Need help with location of a vacuum hose

I have a 91 camaro Z28 5.7 TPI.

Looking from the front of the engine im talking about the 3 hose attachments to the plenum on the far left side. I looked at this word document posted in another thread that had vacuum diagrams but the one I have doesn't seem to be on there. Starting from the farthest attachment is a hose that goes into the MAP sensor. Since the MAP sensor is attached to the plenum that hose was never removed. The 2nd farthest hose I used the diagram on the hood to match that to the fuel reg. The closests of the 3 according to the diagram goes to the HVAC & Cruise. This hose is the problem as I cannot find a place where this is suppose to go and this is causing me to run with a high idle. If anyone with a similar setup could please take a look and tell where this hose goes it would help me out a lot.

Thanks

Re: Need help with location of a vacuum hose

There's a 3 way check valve involved in this.

One hose comes off the plenum into the valve end.
One hose comes from the firewall (HVAC) into the valve end.
One hose comes out of the check valve side and goes over to the cruise control.

Re: Need help with location of a vacuum hose

Thanks a lot viprklr i was able to find what you were talking about and fix it up.

Sadly this fix caused another problem cause the hose was in the wrong spot and now i might have another missing hose problem.

I'm talking about the EGR sol. I have the 2 hoses that go to the EGR valve and also a fitting on the plenum. The problem is on the back of it there appears to be a spot for a hose. There is also what looks like 2 metal prongs that look to hold something on to that spot.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There used to be a sponge-like filter there. No hose goes there. I wouldn't worry about it. Both of my cars have been missing the sponge for years with no adverse effects.
