Compressor removel. can i do this??

My friend got me thinking[another member on the board] since i have and 87 and I am going to remove the AC out of my car and I am running off of v-belts can i just remove the compressor too and save more room. the comprssor is going from compressor to power steering to crank. the power sterring has it own belt that going to crank to power sterring. so if im removing the ac i really can eliminate that whole belt.

i think you worded the diagram a little wrong, it goes from the compressor to the compressor?

If you want to remove the compressor, thats fine, its a vbelt system, it just means that the crank will spin but their will be no belt for the compressor
