TPI Flat spot in acceleration

89 Iroc 5.7..My car was off all winter long. Ran great before I put her away. Now its hard to start. Start it up put it in gear and it will stall until it warms up. Go down the street and there is a flat spot as soon as you push the peddle. Once shes going shes fine and the flat spot clears up. Any ideas anyone. Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.. Also anyone in the cleveland area good at working on these cars?

Re: TPI Flat spot in acceleration

I've ran about 6 full tanks of fuel so far and no change. Pulling out of my development today and the car hesitated again. After it warmed up it was fine.

No SES light?

Either way, check for codes just to make sure. Not all codes will cause the SES light to come on.

Re: TPI Flat spot in acceleration

Well problem was a bad fuel pump. Car should of been over 30 psi and was only producing 15 psi. That would do it. Thanks for everyones help.
