starter & fuel pump
I beleive my new car suffers from heat soak. Have had to wait a few minutes to cool down.
Is there an aftermarket starter immune to this? Or some kind of wrap?
Any recomendations for a replacement fuel pump? (high performance 350 TPI)
I am not sure if there is a problem...but want to have someitng in mind. I have had a fuel pump go before on a Mustang..and it was done instantly...no warning.
The Firebird did someting odd...the other day. Stalled everyitme I put it in gear...for maybe 15 minutes then was fine. (I drove it into the garage...slight incline--then shut off..when I tried to restart..it stalled in gear)
thanks

Re: starter & fuel pump
Advanced auto parts sells a heatshield wrap with velcro closure for about $30 that would work good. They also make a selenoid relocation kit(not at advanced).
