What size o-ring for power steering hose?
Does anyone know what size o-ring you need for the high pressure line that goes from the power steering pump into the steering box? I'm assuming both ends use the same size o-ring? Thanks

I don't believe the high pressure side uses an O-ring. Just a straight metal to metal seal. This is at both ends, with the fittings torqued to 21 ft/lbs.

My high pressure line used one at both ends. Don't know what size - they came with the new one.

My original one had o-rings in it and I know I replaced them last time....but GM couldn't give me an answer so who knows? I'll just find something similar to the mangled one on there now.

I recently walked into NAPA store and asked for those. the guy came back with a plastic assortment box labelled "power steering" we fished out 2 that looked right and they work so far.

Just spent an hour searching the 'net for the right o-ring size.
It looks to be a -903 o-ring, you can buy these from mcmaster carr. I would recommend Viton since it can handle the heat better than rubber o-rings.
