my car has been having problems starting the last few weeks. the starter engages but the engine doesnt turn over. i can smell the gas and it has a new fuel pump and filter. i replaced the distributor cap and rotor and it worked for a few days. then it wouldnt start again so i replaced the coil and it worked a few more days. i just replaced the ignition module today and it tries to start but its not turning over all the way. it almost starts then it seams like the engine is catching on something and it stops the whole engine shakes. it feels like my plugs are pluged into the wrong spots but i checked it 5 times already and their not. plz help this has been going on for a few weeks now.

 

sounds like timing issue to me

or low battery

or too far advanced initial timing

one of the three, or a combination of them
