Smog pump
Just got the car 2 days ago, I know this may be a dumb question but the belt is off the smog pump will this cause the car to have poor throttle responce? Didnt know if it would effect the vaccum. 1986 TA 305 TPI

It shouldn't affect throttle response. Certainly doesn't affect vacuum.

all the pump does is inject air into the exhaust manifolds and sometimes into the cat too, on some models such as el camino and caprice and impala, etc
